Final Digipak In Physical Form

Final Digipak

This is the digital version of the final digipak as well as the CD cover. The purple eye was an important part of the digipak as it is used widely thoughout the final video. To make the digipak more orgianl we decided that the tree on the front cover would be cut out so that the purple eye could be seen behind it.

Final Advert

To make sure that all three ancillary products were similar we decided to have our main star image as the focus of the magazine advert. The purple eye is the centre of the advert catching the audience's attention. IT is also the same design used for the CD cover which helps the products to be more relatable. To create a more orgianl advert we also used some the ink work used on the digipak which again connects the products together. We also included the front of the digipak and a QR code to make it more realistic as a magazine advert.

Digipak Design

To follow our inspiration taken from Katherine Asher we took several screenshots from the video whilst it was in production, Charlotte( group member) then drew each image again using ink pen. Once they had been to touch up any errors which had been made photoshop was used to neaten up the image.  We decided to use eyes as part of the digipak following our star image of a purple eye. We then found some extreme close up of Samways lips which we thought would work well adding just a slight colour on just her lips.

Digipak Experiments

To create our star image throughout the ancillary texts we experimented using different techniques to colour the eye purple. Creating these experiements allowed us to really focus on bringing the star image out in the digipak allowing us to understand exactly what we wanted to be seen. This is the experiment picutres:
