As oussr artist Samways was very busy we decided the best way to film her was to film her on a static camera lip syncing the whole song. Once we had done this I put the whole clip onto Final Cut Pro. I then was able to lock that clip allowing me to add clips over the top so it wasn't all just the artist singing. I put the whole clip into monochrome. This created shadows on our artist giving her a scary look to her which is what we wanted to create. We also filmed extreme close up of her eyes and her lips as well as atmospheric shots in the woods and images of our actress as well giving an uneasy feel to the video. Every shot was put into monochrome following the video of The Wolf which is our main inspiration.

To create a star image throughout our video, I then had to edit the close ups of an eye purple. However it was hard to edit the eye because the artist started with her eye closed then opened it during the clip. The best way to edit the eye was using motion. This allowed me to track the eyes movement, making sure in each shot the eye was purple in the right place. When then decided to repeat the clip several times during the video to make sure that star image came through.
To create a ghostly effect, on some of the clips I decided to overlap the same clip changing the opacity of one of the clips
. I then changed the angle of one of the clips. This can be seen below with an image of the artist playing the piano. Because the two clips are running at the same time, the audience aren't quite sure which clip is the real image allowing us to create an uneasy feel. The reason behind creating an uneasy feel is because My Revenge is based on murder so the lyrics needed to come through using the images. Also because we decided on the Blair Witch Project as our intextuality we needed to almost scare people throughout. We also did this by using an echo effect to create a shaky camera movement throughout the video. We captured alot in the woods which follows the story of the Blair Witch Project.
Throughout the video we have a few clips of our actress running in the woods, as if she is running away from someone. To make the piece more interesting I decided to put the clips into slow motion, allowing the audience to really focus on the detail off the clip, picking up any shadows that may have been created. We used a shaky cam to follow our actress running as this also follows the Blair Witch Project.
